Sunday Confessions #1
Found this on one of my favorite blog's while Tweeting (another guilty pleasure).
This meme was started by Marcie @ To Read or Not To Read. She started it as a way to share a little about herself, but to learn about the rest of us as well. She says, "Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate."
This week's question is
"Do you need silence to read?"
My answer is no. I have become really good at blocking noise out, so if it's super-loud I can still read. At the same time, when I'm alone in my room reading, I like to have the radio going or a CD playing. Whether it's jazz or pop or classical; whatever. I think I read better when I'm blocking something out, actually :).
This meme already has me anxious to get to next Sunday for another question. LOL! I am honestly a sucker for memes. (Whadaya know: three things learned about me in one post. *New record!*)
Happy Reading to everyone,

This seems like a cool idea! I will post about my answer tomorrow.

That's great, DF!
I don't need silence either, but I find that I treasure it (silence) when it comes. With a 2 yr old it is hardly ever quiet.

Thanks so much for the follow! I'm following you back now! I am also one of those people that doesn't need silence to read.
Actually, I can tune noise out so well that I become deaf for all intents and purposes. lol. People have to try several times to get my attention before I snap out of my "reading trance". lol.
Carissa: I'm the same way!! LOL. My friends get to the point where if I don't answer them after three, I'm not going to. Haha
Brandi: I understand that :)
Thanks both of you for commenting, and thanks Carissa for following.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I love reading what you have to say, whether good or bad. (This is not an open invitation to be rude.)
This blog is an award-free zone. I simply don't have the time to pass them on. Thanks for thinking of me, though :).
