30 + Change #1 (August 2010)

My first ever 30+ Change post is finally here! For August, I went a few dollars over, but because Mom let me get another book for school :). Take a look!

1.) Unbelievable (Pretty Little Liars, #4) by Sara Shepard. Cost: $7.99

2.) The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1) by Stieg Larsson. Cost: $7.14. Why: This book has been the #1 book bought on my Kindle for quite a while. It looked interesting, so I just had to try it out!

3.) Wicked (Pretty Little Liars, #5) by Sara Shepard. Cost: $7.99

4.) The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Cost: $6.99. I was recommended this book by one of my friends on GoodReads. She said that it was a great book, and I thought it was pretty interesting. Had to buy it!

5.) I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. Cost: $5.59. We were talking about Maya Angelou and reading a selection from this book in class. I wanted to be able to get the full effect, read the entire book. So I asked my mom, and she said that I could get this one -- but only this one, since I'd already spent all my money.

Total Spent: $35.70

August was pretty hectick, with school starting up again, and having to get used to that schedule again. I was always tired, and never had any time to really read. But I definitely bought!

September 1st will start my next list, and I'm already excited! Happy reading!

Great list Z! I can't believe that all of those only added up to $35.70! You must have done some good shopping!

Haha; thanks, Kate! Yeah, Kindle books aren't that expensive, but when you can only spend $30 a month, they aren't exactly "cheap" either. :)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I love reading what you have to say, whether good or bad. (This is not an open invitation to be rude.)

This blog is an award-free zone. I simply don't have the time to pass them on. Thanks for thinking of me, though :).
