In My Mailbox #11 & Sunday Confessions #4

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted every week by The Story Siren. To find out how to participate and the "official" details, check out the IMM page.

Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library.

-----------------------------------------------------

Bought on Kindle:

--I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore
--The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving

So I managed to get my folks to let me get the first one, even though I'm completely broke :). The second one, luckily, was free.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This meme was started by Marcie @ To Read or Not To Read. She started it as a way to share a little about herself, but to learn about the rest of us as well. She says, "Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate."
This week's question is
"What do you love most about reading?"
I'm not sure what I love most about reading. Reading is EVERYTHING to me. I love how the characters relate to so much of my life, and the plots (some of them) are so action- and adventure-packed. There's, honestly, so much that I love about the books I read. I can't name them all. I'm so passionate about books and reading that I can't even think of anymore LOL.
So what's the thing you adore most about reading?
Leave a link to your IMM &/or SC and I will be sure to come by! :)
Hi from France :)
I can't wait to read I'm number four, all the reviews I've seen are so positive. Here the book is going to be released next month and the movie in April. But I think I'll read the book in English :)
Happy reading (I love your rating system ^^ )
I didn't like I Am Number Four at all, but there are a lot of mixed reviews about it. I think it's the type of book that you either love or hate.
I really should read Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I'm not sure why I never have. Happy reading!
Zakiya LadyWings said...
Katie: I can't wait for the movie either!
Marcie: I really am. If I try to talk about it for too long, I start crying. Haha.
Pixie: No problem!
Kelly: So far I have only seen reviews and heard people talk positive about it. The commercials for the movie are really eye-catching, so we will see what I think in the next week when I read it.
Thanks to everyone for commenting! :D
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I love reading what you have to say, whether good or bad. (This is not an open invitation to be rude.)
This blog is an award-free zone. I simply don't have the time to pass them on. Thanks for thinking of me, though :).
